If you need to find a home for a glider, we can help.  We are not looking for rescues and are not asking for them.  We prefer to help you find a way to keep these gliders from going through the stress of leaving their familiar home and habitat and from pulling them away from their bonded humans. 

    Turning in a sugar glider or gliders to a rescue should be a last resort.  For those that made a commitment to these animals and just got tired of them or no longer wish to take care of them, we hope you understand that this decision may have adverse affects on the sugar gliders.  These affects from stress may include over-grooming, losing hair, not eating, and self-mutilating. 

     We understand that sometimes circumstances change beyond your control and you need to find a home for your precious pets; however, we urge you to do this as a last resort and ask that you contact us for help in solving the issues that may be causing the problem first.  If you do not have an emergency situation, we will ask you to hold onto your glider(s) until a suitable home is found.  If you find there is no other option, then your glider will find a safe haven here while we search for a suitable home for he/she/them. 

    We do not profit from the resale of rescues and do not "pay" for rescues.  We request you provide the cage and toys the sugar glider is used to and, if in good condition, they will go with the sugar glider upon adoption.  We normally charge an adoption fee to be used toward care, habitat and veterinary expenses. 

    We hope that you will make sure all male sugar gliders are neutered before you rehome them.  If this is not possible, we will pay to do so. 

    We ask that you provide their familiar cage and supplies for the sugar gliders you turn in for rescue.  This will help reduce the stress on these animals that will not understand what is going on.  Please provide any toys and pouches that they are used to. 

    If you have un-neutered males, we ask that you neuter them before you put them up for adoption.  If you cannot provide neutering and/or cage, a donation toward same is appreciated.
